Here at South Hill Church we believe that children are important to God and are an integral part of the life of the church. Therefore, we place an important emphasis on the quality of children's programs. Regular weekly classes include Sunday School, Kids' Worship, and TeamKIDs.
TeamKID 1
Ages 4-5 Wednesdays 7:00 PM. Kids in Discipleship helps children know that God loves and cares for them through Bible stories, games, crafts, and other activities
TeamKID 2
Grades 1-5 Wednesdays, 7:00 PM. Kids in Discipleship are currently being challenged to develop Christian character traits ranging from being truthful to being righteous. Fun activities, games, and teaching methods will help children learn about each character trait and how to develop each trait in their lives. Plus, each week has a missions emphasis related to the trait for that meeting. They will meet a lot of missionaries via DVD.
TeamKID meets during the school year and does not meet when there is no school for a particular day.

Kids' Worship meets Sundays at 10:15 AM and is for children age 4--11. Our current series of lessons is on the Fruit of the Spirit.
Sunday School for all ages (including adults) is at 9:15 AM Sundays. Preschoolers and children are the focus of our teaching. Their understanding, needs and interests are important in our approach to Bible teaching, aiming to meet the needs of different learning styles through a variety of teaching methods and to enable kids to internalize Bible truths and apply them to life.
Vacation Bible School is a 5-day summer program open to all children who have finished Kindergarten through 6th grade.. Kids look forward to this all year. Our theme this year is Answers in Genesis' The Egypt Files Decoding the Mysteries of Life. Kids will learn that; they were specially created in the image of God for the purpose of loving and serving Him.
